Challenge
Launch Angry Birds Journey to a US audience by engaging celebrity talent to take part in a social competition driven by TV advertising. Drive app downloads and engagement with the new game variant.
Approach
In a TVC and social campaign, we used an analogy to target empty-nesters (with a penchant for reality TV). The big idea was comparing Angry Birds’ downtime to a spa retreat. We used influencers and tv celebs as cast, interacting with the Angry Birds movie version of Red.
